On 2-4 December our club celebrated the 20th anniversary of its Charter in the wonderful company of 97 guests from 31 Soroptimist clubs of 9 European countries who we accommodated in one of the best hotels in the heart of St.Petersburg - the Ambassador, with its stunning panoramic view from the restaurant.

On 29 May our club planted perennial flowers, bushes and two trees in the yard of Hospice 3.
We arranged three flowerbeds and an alley of bushes.

Project Getting together. On April 3d members of our club were in the Mariinsky Concert Hall
to listen to F. Liszt's music. We were greatly impressed by the wonderful music and enjoyed our time together.

Project Better world to children: almost the whole March was devoted to the orphanage Charity Home.
We asked our friends to collect good clothes for the children, our club bought some developing games and with those presents we visited the performance of the Drama studio of the orphanage. Afterwards children were given a chance to find themselves in the dressing-rooms of prominent actors in the real theatre - Drama theatre named after V.Komissarzhevskaya - and be present at a rehearsal.

On 12 January 2011 our club awarded Arina Reznikova, a 4-year student of St.Petersburg state university, a title Girl of the Year-2010.
Arina became a winner in the Best translation of the Modern Greek poems competition organized by the club and the department of classical languages of the State university.

In the framework of our project "Making a difference" more than 40 employees of Hospice 3 had 2 excursions in the Menshikov's Palace.They enjoyed spending time there with a wonderful guide - Nadezhda Zharkova.

On 25 December 2010 our club presented 100 tickets for the New Year celebration in Mikhailovsky Castle.
Children from the Charity Home, Children social centre "Vera" of Admiralteisky district and Centre of Assistance to family and children of Basil Island district were very glad to meet Grandfather Frost and receive excellent presents from him!

In the framework of the club project "Making a difference" a member of our club, Elena Pavlova, a certified (Milan Academy) master of permanent makeup, stylist of the international level, 1prize winner of All-Russia competition in permanent makeup in 2010 offered her program of help to those women, who have some visible consequences of cancer operations.
